RETURN POLICY – DesertPearL

Our products are carefully selected to help your skin look and feel its best. If a product isn't quite right for you, you may return it within 14 days. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our return policy so you can shop with confidence.

1. Right of Withdrawal – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it without providing a reason. After cancelling your order, you have an additional 14 days to return the product to us.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, products must be:

In their original condition:

  • Complete

  • Undamaged

  • Clean

  • In their original packaging

Unused:

  • No signs of use

  • No damage to the product or its packaging

Skincare Products

For skincare products (such as oils, serums, creams, lip care products, etc.), the following applies:

Due to hygiene and product safety reasons, opened or used skincare products cannot be returned.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Airless pump bottles

  • Dropper bottles

  • Jars

  • Tubes

  • Any product that comes into direct contact with the skin and cannot be resold once opened

As some packaging types do not have a security seal (such as airless pump bottles), we determine whether a product has been used based on indicators including:

  • An activated pump

  • Product residue around the opening

  • Movement of the base in airless packaging

  • Changes in the shape or condition of the packaging

Non-Hygiene Products (Accessories)

Accessories may be returned provided they are:

  • Unused

  • In perfect condition

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following products cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used skincare products

  • Products that cannot be resold for hygiene reasons

  • Products showing clear signs of use

  • Damaged products that are no longer suitable for resale

4. Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning products, unless:

  • DesertPearL made an error with the order;

  • The product was delivered damaged or defective.

5. How to Return a Product

  1. Notify us of your return within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing retouren@mydesertpearl.com.

  2. Please include:

    • Your name

    • Your order number

    • The product(s) you wish to return

  3. We will send you the return instructions and return address by email.

  4. Carefully package and return the product.

  5. Keep your proof of postage until your return has been processed.

6. Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your returned item(s):

  • We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days;

  • The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase;

  • If the returned product is damaged, incomplete, or shows signs of use, a reduction in the refund amount may be applied to reflect the loss in value.

7. Received a Damaged or Incorrect Product?

If your order arrived damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours by emailing contact@mydesertpearl.com.

Please include photos of:

  • The product

  • The packaging

  • The shipping label

We will ensure the issue is resolved promptly, usually by replacing the product.

Would you like to exchange a product?

Simply:

  1. Return the product in accordance with this Return Policy; and

  2. Place a new order through our webshop.
